Now, as the founder of Simply Believe Creative, she is returning to her professional passion: identifying authentic voices and bringing feel-good stories to life.

Hyemin Im ’27 didn't know ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ existed until a friend suggested she take a tour. It was the promise of hands-on experience that drew her in, and a life-changing scholarship that made her stay.

A graduate of the International Business Dual Degree program, Sofia Galazzi ’19 now serves as a Budget Officer at the European Commission in Brussels. She uses the soft skills developed at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to navigate global financial systems.

LIFE@ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ members came together with a food drive to support SAFE, a food pantry that serves Alamance County, as a celebration of its 15-year anniversary, gathering 1,192 food items and $1,880.

Each week, LIFE@ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ members, 50 and older, gather in South Gym for a fun session of pickleball that encourages healthy activity and builds meaningful community.

LIFE@ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, a lifelong learning program at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, trains its student workers in CPR, AEDs, and first aid to create an environment of preparedness, supporting seniors in the community.

Inspired by Book’s service to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, Trustee Kerrii Brown Anderson ’79 has made a $500,000 gift to name the gathering space at the university’s future health and wellness hub.

Five alumni shared notes of gratitude, appreciation and respect for the university, as they received the highest accolades conferred by the Office of Alumni Engagement at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony.
