ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s 134th Commencement exercises will be held in Schar Center on Friday, May 24, 2024.

The recent ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduate demonstrated a capacity to thrive while significantly contributing to campus life, holding leadership positions, and securing three internships.

Thirty-four students in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Communications Fellows program participated in a 10-day trip in January to the Sunshine State, touring communications companies, meeting with industry professionals, and exploring what their future careers might look like.

Matt Trez and Zoë Rein from the Class of 2023 were part of a new program for recent ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduates who want to earn a master’s degree from the university on a full scholarship when they teach for two years in the Alamance-Burlington School System.

After devising a unique major and research project at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, Brett Brawerman ’12 transfers his skills to the Peace Corps and later, Feedonomics.

The cohort of 12 undergraduate students has been studying in Charlotte since August, as part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in Charlotte: The Sport Experience program, which has allowed them to attend over 15 enrichment activities and converse with over 40 alumni these past four months.  

Ten alumni met with first-year ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College Fellows during the program’s annual trip to the nation’s capital to offer guidance for their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ careers and beyond.

Santamaria is currently writing a biography of L'Engle, who penned "A Wrinkle in Time," a Newbery Medal-winning novel that was later made into an award-winning film.

Two major dates for the fall 2024 semester have been confirmed. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Family Weekend will kick off on Friday, Sept. 27, with many campus activities planned throughout the weekend. Homecoming Reunion Weekend will take place Nov. 1-2.
