Rosaline Bush ’58 publishes children’s book

Rosaline Toney Bush '58 spent more than 30 years in the teaching profession, and she draws upon that experience the recently published children's book, The Journal of Skipper Catt Esquire. The book, Bush's first published work, focuses on the aged Skipper Catt as he looks over his long life and shares what he has learned with his grandkitties.

South entrance opened to Alumni Gym

Renovations to Alumni Gym continued this week as work crews knocked out the south wall of the gym to begin building a new main entrance to the home of the Ƶ Phoenix basketball and volleyball teams.
Historic Ƶ bells on permanent display

Two bells with historic ties to Ƶ, including one that survived a fire that threatened the future of the school in its early years, were put on display Thursday at two different locations on campus.
Trustee Emeritus Roger Gant, Jr. 1924 – 2010

Roger Gant Jr., who served on Ƶ's board of trustees for 20 years, died July 26 at the age of 86. Gant was former president of Glen Raven Inc. and a second-generation descendant of the textile company's founder.
