The regional chapters of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Alumni Association will host members of the Class of 2008 at a series of Welcome to the City events. These gatherings are designed to enable ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s newest alumni to get to know other alums in their cities while maintaining ties to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

Since last week's launch of the IGNITE annual giving program, 32 young alumni have joined this donor recognition group by making gifts to support the hallmarks of an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education.

Geoffrey Lynn, a chemistry major who graduated in 2007, has been accepted into the National Institutes of Health Oxford/Cambridge Scholars Program, a doctoral training program for outstanding science students committed to biomedical research.
