Sierra Club’s “Lens on the Border” photo exhibition is part of third biennial On the Edge symposium series. This year’s symposium will examine how cultural and religious forces interact at areas of physical and perceived intersection.

This summer, a small army of faculty and staff prepared technology and tools that create opportunities for students to connect with material and each other.

The issue began as a 2018 College Art Association conference panel Ringelberg organized around transgender art.

A number of departments are holding special events to showcase undergraduate research.

Through a two-year fellows program, the five members of the Class of 2022 who are part of this interdisciplinary cohort will participate in specialized coursework, faculty-mentored undergraduate research, campus leadership and community engagement in multifaith contexts.

A segment for the NPR affiliate WUNC featured the work of Associate Professor of Art Anne Simpkins as she moved to online learning.

Five faculty members were honored on Monday, Aug. 19, for their excellent work in ������Ƶ College, the College of Arts & Sciences.  

The piece by Samantha DiRosa, associate professor of art and environmental studies, is included in the environmentally-themed exhibition that showcases five artists.

 

At the annual Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on May 15, the ������Ƶ community honored 11 faculty members and six staff members who are retiring this year.
