Inaugural Neuroscience Workshop held on campus

The first ever Neuroscience Workshop at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ was held Oct. 24, 2008, in the Moseley Center, where dozens of students and faculty took part in five presentations on a subject of growing interest in higher education.

Chemistry students attend SERMACS conference in Virginia

A group of 14 chemistry and biochemistry students from the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ American Chemical Society student affiliate group, along with their adviser, Chemistry Lab Manager Paul Weller, and Assistant Professor of Chemistry Victoria Moore, traveled to Richmond, Va. Oct. 28-30 for the South Eastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students win recognition for outstanding undergraduate research

The North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) Undergraduate Research Program recognizes students across North Carolina for their outstanding work in STEM-related undergraduate research. This year, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students Ali Deatsch and Kelly Giffear were among the five students recognized statewide.
