The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community will watch history unfold with the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 11:30 a.m.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is engaging the campus community in meaningful conversations before and after the 2020 presidential election through a series of scheduled events.

The road through the center of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's campus will be closed from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, through 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5.

The university is planning a number of events and initiatives for the campus community to watch the results on Election Night and discuss the outcomes after all the votes are counted.

With the ongoing pandemic, voting looks a little different this year. Read how ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Votes!, the nonpartisan campus initiative, is helping students get their ballots ready for the upcoming election season.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is receiving national attention for its voter registration efforts, ranking in TurboVote’s top 10 colleges or universities in total registrations and percentage of registrations among undergraduates.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students are invited to watch some of two town halls beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 15 that will feature President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students are invited to watch the October 7 vice-presidential debate with their roommate(s) in the form of tiny debate watch parties while wearing their masks and maintaining social distancing.
