Brooke Barnett, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s associate provost for academic and inclusive excellence and professor of communications, has been named dean of the College of Communication at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She will begin her duties there on June 1.

The student-run news organization was honored with six awards, including four first-place finishes, and two School of Communications graduates were recognized for their professional journalism efforts.

A group of nearly two dozen School of Communications students received a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of the NHL organization and its arena.
