A survey conducted by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty and students at the United Nations-sponsored Internet Governance Forum in Brazil identifies top issues facing development of network communications around the world. The study was conducted by the Imagining the Internet Center in the School of Communications in partnership with the Pew Internet & American Life Project.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will launch its fifth graduate program beginning in summer 2009, offering a master of arts degree in interactive media through the School of Communications. The program will be the first of its kind in North Carolina, preparing students to become leading professionals in the rapidly evolving communications industry.
