Professor secures undergrad research funds from NSF

The National Science Foundation has awarded a $16,000 grant to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ associate professor Megan Squire to hire student researchers for an ongoing project initially funded by the NSF in 2007.

Computing sciences faculty member Joel Hollingsworth will lead two ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ teams to compete in the regional phase of the world's most prestigious computer programming competition. Fourteen colleges and universities will compete in the regional contest Oct. 25 at Duke University.
