The latest photos show significant progress on the 160,000-square-foot facility, which will provide a premier gathering space for major campus events and serve as the new home for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's basketball and volleyball programs.

A $400,000 gift from the estate of the late Mattie Pickett Edwards ’39 and John Lee Edwards ’41 creates a meaningful legacy at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

The generous gift from Robert and Dilek Koenigsberger P’17, of Greenwich, Connecticut, will bring academic advising and related services together in the new Koenigsberger Learning Center as part of an expanded Belk Library.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnus and parent Sam Burke ’89 P’19 and his wife, Kelly P’19, of Hellertown, Pennsylvania, are among the benefactors helping to make Richard W. Sankey Hall possible.

The 247-year-old religious text, used by the Rev. James O'Kelly as he preached in North Carolina and Virginia, was donated to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ by Steve Lynch of Burlington, N.C.

Through their generous gift, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Trustee Cindy Citrone P'17 and her husband, Rob P'17, will make an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education possible for promising students with significant financial need.

The university hosted a formal dedication for the new facilities of the School of Communications, which now spans three buildings and 105,000 square feet of space.  

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community is invited to join President Lambert, trustees and donors for the dedication of the expanded communications complex. The ceremony will be held TODAY at 3:30 p.m. in the Snow Family Grand Atrium inside Dwight C. Schar Hall.

John and Patricia Chadwick, of Old Greenwich, Connecticut, and Bill and Frances Creekmuir of Atlanta have made generous gifts to support Richard W. Sankey Hall and Business Fellows scholarships.

Nick Livengood ’12 L’15 of Durham, N.C., made his gift to ensure that his university continues to thrive for generations to come.
