What began as a desire to help support Black students has evolved into a quest to grow ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Black Alumni Scholarship endowment to $1 million.

Fifty-six members of the Class of 2021 were honored May 20 during the cultural ceremony that celebrates the achievements of students who recognize their African heritage.

Together, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community raised over $3.4 million from 5,609 gifts and unlocked numerous opportunities for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and the community.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Black Alumni Network went virtual for its annual summit that took place Sept. 26.

In his Martin Luther King Jr. Keynote Address to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law community, alumnus Dave Morrow '07 L'10 highlighted three attorneys whose legal work with the slain civil rights leader helped shape a nation in ways still felt today.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Black Alumni Network presented awards Nov. 3 to five members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community as part of its Homecoming festivities

 

Outstanding ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, along with distinguished faculty and staff were recognized for their achievements and contributions to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on April 28.
