2018 was a year of tremendous opportunity for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s design thinking initiative, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ By Design. More faculty, staff and students were able to benefit from learning about the process, mindset and methods behind design thinking.

Hillary McDonald, third-year PA student attended the 2019 Triangle Health Innovation Challenge (thinc) held Feb. 1-3. The 3-day hackathon held at the Duke School of Medicine joined teams of students from the Triangle's regional colleges and universities to solve pressing problems in healthcare.

The two-day event in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Center for Design Thinking has participants looking at how faculty can incorporate design thinking projects into their curriculum to help students learn about collaboration and innovation.
