Kathleen Hupfeld ’16 will receive a three-year grant from the National Science Foundation to continue her studies at the graduate level.

This week, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students are involved in activities to mark CELEBRATE! 2016, a celebration of achievements in academics and creative endeavors.

The award provides students with $10,000 to research and understand problems of interest to them and then use their leadership abilities to test potential solutions.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ scholar Pranab Das' past research on neural networks inspired a guest column published by regional newspapers in which he gives a preview of what humans can expect from computers in the coming years.
