Following a successful September, we look ahead to October in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Athletics.

Night of the Phoenix has grown each year and this year was no exception, raising a record $521,923.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Connie Ledoux Book presented the medallion to three longtime leaders at the university in academics, athletics and community engagement during an event marking the start of a new academic year. The university also recognized three named professorships during the event.

An industry leader, Ticketmaster will provide event ticketing products and services for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Athletics, Cultural Programs and Events, and other campus partners.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is one of only four CAA schools with multiple winners of the award.

All 17 sports at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ have multi-year APR rates of 980 or above. The APR is a real-time measure of eligibility, retention and graduation of student-athletes competing on every NCAA Division I athletics team.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ recognizes the 10 staff members who are retiring after years of dedicated service to the campus community.

The annual awards ceremony for student-athletes was held Monday, May 13, in Schar Center.
