The annual winter tradition brought the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community together with more than 50,000 luminaries lighting campus, showing how the power of light can inspire and unite.

The first day of classes on Tuesday, Aug. 27, offered a chance to celebrate the opening of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's newest building, and to mark the occasion by adding items to a 10-year time capsule.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is undertaking a range of construction projects this summer that will enhance the student experience and upgrade academic spaces.

The staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 31 awards program during the annual staff day celebration.

The eight annual International Tree Planting took place on South Campus on Thursday, May 23, and allowed international students to plant their oak saplings.

Departments across ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ united to host 1,000 athletes, coaches and staff across 58 events during the 2024 CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships held May 10-11 at the Jerry and Jeanne Robertson Track and Field Complex.

The worldwide initiative aims to plant 1.5 million daffodils in remembrance of the 1.5 million children who perished during the Holocaust.

The work will require a portion of East Haggard Avenue through ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s campus to be closed to vehicular traffic on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Nov. 15 through Dec. 6. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has launched a range of construction and renovation projects during the summer months to bring upgrades to facilities on campus.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ recognizes the 19 staff members who are retiring after years of dedicated service to the campus community.
