ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel and the Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual Life invite you to a
(mock) Jewish wedding on Monday, Nov. 18 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.,  as part of the four-part series "Four Weddings and an Understanding."

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students are going to Allied Churches in Burlington to learn more about the issues of hunger and homelessness and to make challah (traditional Jewish braided bread) with the residents and staff of Allied Churches. 

Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Numen Lumen Pavilion.

Crowds visited the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Community Garden behind the Sklut Hillel Center on Oct. 25 as an environmental studies course and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel celebrated the season with food, face painting, photos and gobs of gourds.

On Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel and the Jewish Studies program will host Liat Srur, N.C. Hillel's Israel Fellow, for a conversation about the kibbutz movement in Israel and an exploration of the Green Kibbutz Group's focus on sustainability. 

On Wednesday, October 16 at 6pm ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel will host Liat Srur, NC Hillel's Israel Fellow, for a conversation about the kibbutz movement in Israel and an exploration of the Green Kibbutz Group's focus on sustainability. 

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel 2014 Alternative Spring Break trip will be to New Orleans with the March 23-30.   Hillel is hosting 2 information sessions on the trip on Tuesday, October 8, at 3:00 or 5:15pm at the Sklut Hillel Center.
