INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine has recognized ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ with a 2014 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award, an accolade that reflects ongoing university efforts to celebrate and support students, staff, faculty and alumni of all backgrounds and beliefs.

An annual event connects the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LGBTQIA & Ally community family across incoming first-year students, current students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Hosted by the American College Personnel Association, the Summer Leadership Institute offered a series of workshops advancing leadership and management potential.  

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ earns a national platform to showcase growing efforts around LGBTQIA inclusion and intersectionality across race, faith, socioeconomic status, disability, U.S. geographic region, and national origin.

Russell Cornelius has been hired for the summer to expand knowledge, resources, and services offered by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Gender & LGBTQIA Center.

The annual lavender graduation honors LGBTQI and Ally graduating seniors, as well as students, faculty and staff who have advanced inclusion, support and education around LGBTQIA identities at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

This annual event is a year-end celebration for all LGBTQI and ally students, faculty and staff. Graduating seniors will be honored during the dinner, and achievements in LGBTQIA inclusion at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will be recognized.

Pulitzer Prize-winner Jose Antonio Vargas will speak at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Diversity and Leadership Conference about "coming out" as an undocumented immigrant in the New York Times Magazine and later on the cover of TIME magazine.
