Three ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students won top awards last week for their performance in the moot court competition at the 4th annual International Human Rights Law Summer Study in Vilnius, Lithuania, a program co-sponsored by the university’s Center for Public Affairs.

Eleven ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students in the Class of 2012 Periclean Scholars program joined two faculty mentors in Jamkhed, India, this week through a trip made possible by the Carole and Douglas Bruns Endowment for International Service Learning.

Prudence Layne, an assistant professor of English and coordinator of African/African-American Studies at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, has been named one of four Visiting Fellows this summer at the Bader International Studies Institute at Herstmonceux Castle in Sussex, England, to teach a postcolonial Shakespeare class with field studies components.
