Students excel at human rights law moot court contest

Three ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students won top awards last week for their performance in the moot court competition at the 4th annual International Human Rights Law Summer Study in Vilnius, Lithuania, a program co-sponsored by the university’s Center for Public Affairs.

Periclean Scholars visit India for service learning

Eleven ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students in the Class of 2012 Periclean Scholars program joined two faculty mentors in Jamkhed, India, this week through a trip made possible by the Carole and Douglas Bruns Endowment for International Service Learning.

Prudence Layne named visiting fellow at Bader International Studies Institute

Prudence Layne, an assistant professor of English and coordinator of African/African-American Studies at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ, has been named one of four Visiting Fellows this summer at the Bader International Studies Institute at Herstmonceux Castle in Sussex, England, to teach a postcolonial Shakespeare class with field studies components.
