Krista Contino Saumby, the School of Law’s associate director of career development, took part in the opening plenary session for the Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Convention.

From painting hallways to spreading mulch, members of ������Ƶ Law’s Class of 2025 assisted local educators in August with preparing schools for the start of the academic year through the annual ������Ƶ Law Reaches Out service initiative for incoming students.

Anupama Pal will lead a team of seven staff members as she returns to North Carolina as associate dean for library and information services at ������Ƶ’s downtown Greensboro law school.

Twenty-nine students in the Class of 2024 will participate in upcoming national contests and help coordinate ������Ƶ Law's own Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition.

The Hon. Barron Thompson L’09, an ������Ƶ Law graduate who presides in North Carolina District Court, delivered a Convocation address to the Class of 2025 in which he reminded students that “we all owe something to those who came before us.”

Senior leaders welcomed to Greensboro on August 3, 2023, the largest class in the history of ������Ƶ School of Law with a pledge from Dean Zak Kramer: “We will always put the students here first.”

Nic Parsons L’24 credits faculty and staff mentors for their support during her first year of law school – reassurance that led her to an all-expense paid scholarship from the Pauli Murray LGBTQ+ Bar Association to visit Chicago for the 2023 Lavender Law Conference & Career Fair.
