Jeffrey Kinsler honored at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law ceremony

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ School of Law celebrated the contributions of Jeffrey Kinsler, a founding member of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law faculty, for his contributions to the law school's progress since 2006. Kinsler recently accepted the position of Dean for the new College of Law at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Admitted Student Day at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law – April 24

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ School of Law is pleased to host an Admitted Student Day on Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 11. All applicants who have been admitted to the law school are welcome and encouraged to attend. A light continental breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Open House at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law – April 23

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ School of Law will host an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Open House on Friday, April 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. This event will give prospective students the opportunity to meet ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ law students, faculty, and staff; attend a mock law class; learn more about the unique characteristics of an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law education; tour the facilities; and obtain information about our admissions process and financial aid.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ School of Law hosted an academic conference entitled "Teaching Law for Engaged Learning," on April 10. The conference brought together more than 50 legal educators from around the nation, all focused on developing as teachers and improving legal education.

On April 8, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ School of Law hosted its final Reception with the Legal Community for the academic year. During the reception, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law faculty presented Strongest Overall Performance awards to students for the 2008-2009 academic year.
