������Ƶ music majors Jacob Danieley and Kaitlyn Fay have been named finalists in the 12th Annual John Lennon Scholarship Songwriting Program, a national contest established in 1997 by Yoko Ono, Lennon's widow, and the BMI Foundation.

Vikram Potdar, a teenage piano extraordinaire from Chapel Hill, will perform selections from composers such as Bach, Chopin and Liszt on Jan. 22 in a Whitley Auditorium concert co-sponsored by the Office of Cultural and Special Programs and the Department of Music.
