Kelly Richard '17 is one of seven ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students to be offered Fulbright awards this spring. 

Jacqueline Spencer '17, a special education and elementary education major, will be teaching English in Spain as part of a federal program that builds goodwill between the United States and people of other nations. 

Steven Armendariz ’17, a political science and international and global studies double major, will travel to Spain as part of a federal program that builds goodwill between the United States and people of other nations.

Lauren Salig '17, a psychology and Spanish double major from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, will travel to South America as part of a federal program that builds good will between the United States and people of other nations. 

Mariana Kneppers '18 is a biology and environmental and ecological science major originally from Walnut Creek, California, who is focusing her Lumen Prize research on coastal wetlands.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ sophomore Alex Mancuso and senior Ben Lutz have received Critical Language Scholarships from the federal government to study Arabic.  

Amy Mullan is competing for a highly competitive national fellowship awarded each year to those with goals of working in public service or government. Winners will be announced in April. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is featured on the annual list of American master’s-level institutions whose graduates received Fulbright student awards for 2016-17.
