Fifteen incoming ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students began their collegiate studies on a semester program that takes them across the nation to grow leadership skills and serve communities with various needs.

New resources will make it easier for incoming students to move to campus on Aug. 21, 2015, when university faculty and staff greet the largest class in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ history.

The first-year summer experience program offered by the Office of New Student and Transition Programs familiarizes incoming students with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's campus and helps them develop outdoor and team-building skills before classes begin in the falll.

The leadership team for New Student Orientation were recognized for excellence at the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA) Region VI conference.

Applications will be available soon for the spring 2015 retreat hosted by the university's New Student and Transition Programs.

Students taking part in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Gap Semester Program have traveled an impressive distance during the first half of the fall semester.

Hundreds of first-year and transfer students took part in a “Stop Hunger Now” meal-packing event on Aug. 30, 2014, organized by Campus Kitchen at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ welcomed to campus this fall students from around the world whose intellectual curiosity and commitment to their communities made them stand out in a record number of applicants for an incoming class.

The Gap Semester kicks off the year for 15 incoming first year students in Wyoming on a 26-day outdoor leadership expedition.
