John Varney '23 was diagnosed in 2017 with osteosarcoma, jeopardizing his chances of attending college. Two years later, he has begun a new journey at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ with a new outlook on life.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff came together to continue a special tradition, College Coffee, on the first day of classes for the 2019-20 academic year.

The roughly 1,675 members of the Class of 2023 were met by hundreds from the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community to help them settle into their new homes and begin their academic careers at the university.

As the Class of 2023 prepares to move to campus Friday, we are taking a look back at what Move-In Day was like for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and their families in 1986. 

A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed for move-in traffic only from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. Read this note for a link to the Move-In Day map.
