Graduate students in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Physician Assistant Studies program learned Tuesday from faculty and staff across campus how to create meaningful relationships with underserved and vulnerable populations.

Four faculty members in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ 's Department of Physician Assistant Studies presented at the 2014 Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Forum held in Philadelphia on Oct. 15-19.

The director of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Physician Assistant Studies program received the PAEA's 2014 Master Faculty Award for her contributions to physician assistant education.

A federal program of the Health Resources and Services Administration will provide full tuition and a stipend to four ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduate students planning to work in medically underserved regions across the United States.
