The award honors those who have displayed a great potential in providing future contributions to the physical therapy profession.

More than 160 families, friends, students and faculty filled the Sacred Space to honor the memory of 35 “silent teachers.”

������Ƶ's Doctor of Physical Therapy program was represented strongly at the Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine in Denver, CO. Alicia Wilson and James Gerosa, second-year DPT students, also won awards at the conference.

Ann Heil, third-year DPT student, and Kelly O'Daniel, second-year DPT student, came together last year to found the Dance Special Interest Group (SIG).

Tracey Thurnes, Antoinette Polito and Crystal Ramsey traveled internationally in recent months to share their scholarship on topics that included the use of design thinking when approaching difficult conversations, destigmatizing patients with obesity, and treatments for traumatic brain injuries.

Zac Ormond DPT'23 and Alicia Wilson DPT'24 were recognized at the 30th annual Phillips-Perry Black Excellence Awards Celebration on April 22.
