The 2018 edition of the President’s Report highlights the accomplishments of the university’s outstanding educators. These intellectual leaders exemplify the kind of drive and commitment that makes ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ such a distinctive academic community.

Now in its 11th year, the program will aid yet another diverse group of faculty in integrating sustainability into academic courses across campus.

Cindy Fair, Tony Crider, Haya Ajjan and Jean Rattigan-Rohr shared their innovative scholarship, insights into teaching and approaches to community engagement at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Talks: Faculty Voices.

Jenkins was one of four undergraduate students nationally to receive the Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Award at the society’s recent annual meeting in Denver.       

On Tuesday, May 8, physics and engineering students and faculty gathered to celebrate the culmination of the academic year.

Three outstanding alumni from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College, the College of Arts & Sciences, were honored Thursday at an annual awards celebration.

Assistant Professor of Physics Chris Richardson was invited to Washington D.C. on behalf of the American Astronomical Society to advocate for astronomy in meetings with senators and representatives.

Kyle Altmann,  associate professor of physics, shares how he uses the Maker Hub to teach his students the importance of making in and out of the classroom.

Tony Crider, associate professor of physics, has been involved with the Reacting to the Past initiative, which uses role-playing games as instructional tools in the classroom, for more than a decade.

Physics and engineering students and faculty gathered Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, on the last day of classes for the annual end of semester banquet.
