ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will hold a variety of special events to honor the armed forces on Nov. 11, including guest speaker retired Adm. Mike Mullen.

Nearly 1,700 new students including the Class of 2028 and transfer students, gathered Under the Oaks on Aug. 24 for New Student Convocation – the beginning of their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ journey.

Seven ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty members were honored with endowed professorships during the Opening Day ceremony on Monday, Aug. 19. Each faculty member was recognized for their passion in their field, commitment to students and service to the university.

In her Opening Day 2024 remarks, President Connie Ledoux Book took faculty and staff back thirty years ago to emphasize the university’s transformation, but also focus on what remains constant: the university’s commitment to people and relationships for the 2024-25 academic year and beyond.
