President Connie Ledoux Book and President Emeritus Leo M. Lambert were featured in a recent publication by the Chronicle of Higher Education about the challenges of leading a university.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Leo M. Lambert presented the medallion to five retired faculty and staff members for their meritorious service to the university during an event marking the start of a new academic year. The university also recognized four endowed professorships and two longtime professors were named Distinguished University Professors. 

In kicking off the 2017–18 academic year, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s president gave his 19th and final opening address by talking about five issues that are critical to the university’s future.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's president has issued a statement following the weekend events in Charlottesville, Virginia.

President Leo M. Lambert and his family were honored at a special College Coffee on Feb. 14, as the campus community came together to thank him for his 18 years of service. 

Once his successor takes office, President Lambert will take a yearlong sabbatical leave before returning to service as president emeritus.

 

President Lambert has recorded a video message to announce his plans to conclude his presidency.

 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Leo M. Lambert was joined by the presidents of Duke University, Wake Forest University, Davidson College, Bennett College and Guilford College at the Governor Morehead Forum. 

Lambert joins the presidents of Bennett College, Davidson College, Duke University, Guilford College and Wake Forest University at the Sept. 12 Morehead Forum in Greensboro.
