The five annual awards celebrate excellence in teaching, scholarship, service-leadership, mentorship and staff in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Class of 2030 begin their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ journey with Move-In Day on Aug. 21. Four current ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students offer their words of wisdom to the incoming class.

For four students in the Infant Development Lab, dedication and consistent preparation over the last academic year made it possible for them to attend and present research at the International Conference on Infant Studies.

Launched in 2021, Campus Alamance connects ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students with paid internships throughout Alamance County while helping build a pipeline of talent for local organizations.

Two ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty members, George Talbert and Sarah Bunnell, were invited to deliver an international keynote on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, sharing how evidence-based inquiry into teaching and student learning can transform both individual practice and institutional culture.

Three members of the class of 2026 and two members of the class of 2025 have been selected for the prestigious program that offers opportunities to teach English, conduct research or attend graduate school in more than 140 countries. One member of the class of 2026 was selected as an alternate.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Psychology students and faculty presented their research this spring at the Southeastern Psychological Association (SEPA) 2026 annual meeting.

The Department of Psychology recognized graduating seniors for excellence in academic achievement, research, and community engagement, highlighting students whose work reflects a strong commitment to scholarship, mentorship, and real-world impact.

Gendle will begin a 3-year term of service on July 1, 2027.
