ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Ken and Malinda Gill of Charlotte, N.C., are among the donors who have recently made generous gifts to support the Schar Center, the university’s new 5,400-seat convocation center.

The new 5,100-seat convocation center is scheduled to be completed in mid-2018 and will become home to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's basketball and volleyball programs. 

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community is invited to a special ceremony at 5:15 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, at the construction site adjacent to Hunt Softball Park on North Williamson Avenue.
