Christian Binder ’13, Mariah Czap ’13 and Al Drago ’15 discussed their careers working as freelancers and how they established themselves in the communications field.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduate was selected as the winner of the Lexus Vine Challenge, presented by the Jimmy Fallon-hosted program. Her Vine video was recognized during the late-night show’s April 10 telecast.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Premier Sport & Event Society brought together professionals from various aspects of the communications, event planning and sports industries on April 7 to share their insight and advice.

The School of Communications alumnus and a colleague won the biennial Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism for an in-depth program focused on women's health rights and abortion in Texas.

Rachel Southmayd Campbell ’13 and Ashley Fahey '13 were recognized March 14 with 2014 South Carolina Press Association awards. 

The 2015 Nashville Film Festival celebrates "That Other Crazy Thing You Do," a short narrative film written by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduate Michelle Leibel ’14. 

During the last year, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduate Alex Hadden ’13 has worked on a documentary, titled “BRAND: A Second Coming," that features entertainment personality Russell Brand. The film will have its world premiere March 13 at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.

Several ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduates earned top honors in the North Carolina Press Association’s 2014 News, Editorial and Photojournalism Contest. The alumni winners, ​led by Kristin Zachary '09 and Scott Muthersbaugh '06, were celebrated at the association's annual Winter Institute Feb. 26.
