Tom Flood, assistant director of physical plant and director of landscaping and grounds at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, has received the Certified Educational Facilities Professional credential from APPA.

The associate director of Study Abroad at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ traveled to Indiana in July 2014 for the highly competitive program.

In an Aug. 18 conversation moderated by President Leo M. Lambert, six professors and administrators shared insights about progress on the university’s strategic plan as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ formally opened the 2014-2015 academic year.

A canned food drive on the university's recent Staff Appreciation Day aided Allied Churches of Alamance County, a Burlington, N.C.-based charity that operates a food pantry to serve the region's hungry and homeless.
