Earth Day celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2015, and several campus activities will offer students, faculty, staff and community members an opportunity to learn how their actions impact the planet - and what they can do to be good stewards of the environment.

The Moseley Center will be operating on special hours this holiday break.

Vital Signs traveled to New York City over Spring Break 2015 for a joint performance with several a cappella groups under the direction of the man who produced the television show "The Sing Off" and acted as vocal producer for the Hollywood hit "Pitch Perfect."

Students in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's student news organizations were named winners and finalists in a regional Society of Professional Journalists awards contest.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has partnered with LiveSafe to offer a free service for students, faculty and staff to share security concerns with Campus Safety & Police via text, photo and video.

An article on March 13, 2015, by Kevin Kruger, president of NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, cited the university for programs that build student leadership skills and promote an ethos of service.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's SGA inaugurated new officers and recognized organizations and individuals on March 12.

Eight students were also recognized regionally by the Society of Professional Journalists.

The student media organizations were both recognized as NCCMA Best of Show winners.
