The Hon. Barron Thompson L’09, an ������Ƶ Law graduate who presides in North Carolina District Court, delivered a Convocation address to the Class of 2025 in which he reminded students that “we all owe something to those who came before us.”

Senior leaders welcomed to Greensboro on August 3, 2023, the largest class in the history of ������Ƶ School of Law with a pledge from Dean Zak Kramer: “We will always put the students here first.”

John Ferebee L’24 prevailed in a competition for summer interns with the Supreme Court of North Carolina and the North Carolina Court of Appeals that featured a real case out of Kentucky involving questions of the Fourth Amendment.

Bolstered by the academic strength of incoming students and improvements in bar passage rates, ������Ƶ School of Law in downtown Greensboro reached #133 - its highest-ever placement - in an influential annual guide to the nation’s best graduate programs.

PreLaw Magazine gives ������Ƶ’s downtown Greensboro law school an A+ for its experiential curriculum in a 2023 ranking that celebrates the way legal programs help students “learn by doing.”  

Melo “Mel” Augustine, Shereena Kamal and Jessica Morales from the Class of 2024 will take part this summer in a North Carolina Bar Association enterprise that encourages and promotes diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
