The Hon. James G. Exum Jr., who steps away from teaching this spring after serving ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law as Distinguished Professor of the Judicial Process, was recognized during a May 10 awards luncheon that celebrated ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ educators, mentors and retiring professors.

The North Carolina Bar Association’s 2017 Law Student Group Pro Bono Award recognizes efforts at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law to help regional attorneys who represent asylum seekers fleeing persecution in their home countries.
