ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Watson & Odyssey Scholars Program and the Study USA office co-sponsored a "Fake Break" program in late January for students to visit with corporate foundation offices at Coca-Cola, Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves, the International Rescue Committee and more.

More than $80,000 was awarded in scholarship assistance this fall as hundreds of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students participate in semester study abroad programs that have seen strong growth in recent years.

The deadline for all Winter Term applications is quickly approaching. To be considered for open programs, students must have application submitted by Monday, Sept. 8.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in Los Angeles program had its culminating event on July 30, 2014.

Mark Dalhouse, the new director of the Study USA program in the Global Education Center, joined ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ colleagues Pam and Chalmers Brumbaugh in late June to visit 16 students interning this summer in the nation's capital.

The seventh annual ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in Los Angeles summer program kicked off May 31.

Rising senior Amber Schmiesing, whose work with film was inspired by her experience in the "ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in L.A." program, won the Dance Camera West film festival's Emerging Artist Second Runner Up Award for an original dance film.
