ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Los Angeles students taking an entertainment public relations course had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the news magazine show "Extra."

The event was designed to give ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Los Angeles students invaluable, face-to-face interactions with high-profile LA-based alumni who have established their prolific, professional careers in the city.

As members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Los Angeles program, the students are encouraged to see themselves not just as visitors, but as active participants in the community's efforts to support those in need.

The Department of Sport Management, in collaboration with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in Charlotte program, Sport Management Society, and Women Influencers in Sport (WINS), hosted a Sept. 29 professional development event at the university’s Charlotte National Campus.
