Four people who make a difference in the lives of others were honored Nov. 3, 2008, in the 15th Annual "Hometown Heroes" awards ceremony at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ. Freshmen class officers selected the honorees for "making a positive difference by touching lives and strengthening their home communities."

Nancy Luberoff, Hillel campus director at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, was interviewed for an Oct. 29, 2008, story in the online news site Inside Higher Ed, which covers issues and trends affecting colleges and universities.

Reform Judaism, the world's largest circulated Jewish Magazine, lists ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ among four colleges and universities that are providing strong support and programming for students of the Jewish faith.
