Hundreds of people celebrated the arrival of the holidays on Thursday night as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ hosted its annual Festival of Holiday Lights in the heart of a campus aglow with luminarias honoring alumni and student donors.

The campus community remembered the victims of a terrorist attack in Paris in a Sunday vigil in which university leaders challenged ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students to make a difference in the world by committing to lives of compassion and kindness.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community is invited to gather at 5:15 p.m. in front of Alamance Building to offer prayers for the victims of Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris. 

The university community shared memories Thursday afternoon of Demitri Allison, a wide receiver on the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Phoenix football team, and began the healing process that follows the sudden loss of a loved one.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community gathered Nov. 9 to celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali in the McBride Gathering Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion.

"To Heal a Broken World," conversations on Jan. 7 & Jan. 14 in the Numen Lumen Pavilion, will engage the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community in what Judaism, Christianity and Islam have to teach about social justice.

Each Wednesday in Winter Term, we invite members of a faith community to share about what they believe during a community lunch.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ sent 20 delegates to the international interfaith gathering and presented two workshops at the conference.
