Scores of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students took part Friday afternoon in the Hindu festival of Holi, a celebration of color that ushers in the season while marking the triumph of good over evil.

The campus community took part Thursday in the "Reading of the Names," a daylong program on the front steps of Moseley Center organized by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel and the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life as part of Holocaust Remembrance Week.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community will come together this week in various ways to remember the over 6 million people who were killed in the Holocaust.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Center for the Study of Religion, Culture and Society hosts on Tuesday a Yale University scholar whose talk in the McBride Gathering Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion will look at specific types of spirituality in American life.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel is hosting a Passover Seder on Monday evening, April 3, the first night of Passover.  The Seder begins at 5:30pm in McKinnon.   

David Gushee, professor of Christian ethics at Mercer University, will speak about supporting Full LGBT Acceptance in church and society on campus at 4:15 p.m. and at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Community Church at 7 p.m.

A Feb. 19, 2015, guest lecture by Professor Michel Bondurand of the NC Consortium Paris program spoke about the way Muslims in France practice their faith.
