About 75 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students gathered in front of Moseley Center Dec. 9 for a candlelight vigil to keep missing alumnus Kyle Fleischmann in the forefront of public consciousness. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ is one of four colleges and universities across the nation honored with the 2007 Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization, which recognizes schools that infuse international education into their studies and classroom culture.

Students give ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ high marks in national survey

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students study abroad in much greater number than their counterparts at other colleges, and when it comes to activities outside the classroom, the percentage of students here who take part in co-curricular programs – like student government or club sports – is twice that of the national average. That information and more is contained in the 2007 National Survey of Student Engagement, which showed that students at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ greatly value their experiences here.
