Pam Brumbaugh, director of experiential education in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Student Professional Development Center, has been honored with the National Society for Experiential Education's Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the NSEE and to experiential learning in American higher education.

Adm. Edward “Ted” Walker, one of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s most generous supporters, honored longtime university administrator Barry Bradberry '75 on Friday by renaming the commons area of an office suite in the Inman ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Welcome Center that will greet generations of future students.

Torres will work closely with campus chaplains and faith leaders to promote dialogue and multifaith harmony.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ held a ceremonial steel beam signing to honor donors and celebrate the new academic facilities now being constructed for the School of Communications Under the Oaks.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law presented Leslie J. Winner, executive director of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, with the Law School’s highest professional honor, the Leadership in the Law Award, recognizing Winner’s significant contributions to law, the legal profession and society. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Dean Luke Bierman presented the award in Charlotte, N.C. at a luncheon forum attended by lawyer-leaders from across North Carolina.

The first ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Poll of the fall shows that North Carolina Republicans currently favor real estate mogul Donald Trump more than other GOP presidential hopefuls in the race for the White House, but defeating Democrat Hillary Clinton in the Tar Heel State next fall may require another nominee.
