More than 300 donors contributed to a special fundraising effort as part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign to increase financial aid for families impacted by COVID-19. Sage Albert ’23 is one of the many students grateful for the support.

The survey of 1,259 registered voters in the state conducted Oct. 22-24 explored issues related to the integrity of the 2020 election and how people will react to the outcome.

The following update on Oct. 23 from the Ready and Resilient Committee informs the campus community about the shift in alert levels and provides information about new clusters, increased and required testing, and reporting positive test results.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ was selected from a group of 695 colleges and universities for the guide for the 11th straight year.

Amy Overman, assistant dean of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College, the College of Arts and Sciences, and professor in the Psychology Department and Neuroscience Program, has received two grants totaling more than $500,000 to support collaborative neuroscience research with partners at Penn State University and N.C. A&T State University.

Through Oct. 30, N.C. students can apply for free to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ along with more than 40 other colleges and the universities in the state.

The late Beth Powell, an entrepreneur and world traveler, has created a legacy that will help women studying business at the university. Her estate gift to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign creates 12 Business Fellows scholarships and a Global Studies Scholarship.
