The Department of Performing Arts is one of eight colleges and universities around the country to participate TODAY, in a staged reading of the play “Church & State” on the anniversary of the shooting.

The poll, conducted in collaboration with the N.C. General Assembly Program Evaluation Division, also found that about half the state agrees with keeping ABC stores closed on Sunday. 

The collaboration includes 49 member institutions that are working together as they address both historical and contemporary issues dealing with race and inequality in higher education.

Beginning May 1, the associate professor of sport management will oversee the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, widely considered the leading resource for professional and student development, education and research in collegiate recreational sports.

The former U.S. Attorney General will speak at ������Ƶ Law in Greensboro on Thursday, Feb. 28. 

The former assistant professor at Louisiana State University and North Carolina attorney will also teach in ������Ƶ’s School of Communications.

The short-term road closure will allow for water system work related to the construction of The Inn at ������Ƶ. 

The annual two-day jazz festival will feature three guest artists who will engage with student ensembles from area middle and high schools and ������Ƶ's university jazz ensemble. 

The close of evening exams on Thursday, Jan. 24 marks the start of "fake break" — the time between the end of Winter Term and the start of Spring Semester.
