At ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ, jazz is more than a style of music, it’s a creative community open to all students, regardless of major. Our jazz program offers outstanding ensembles, hands-on courses, and opportunities to grow as a performer, collaborator, and human being. We offer classes like Jazz Harmony, History of Jazz, and Jazz Improvisation, as well as large and small ensembles, including frequent and varied opportunities to perform alongside peers, faculty members, and even world-renowned guest artists. Students gain valuable skills in creativity, listening, and leadership that apply far beyond the stage.
