Graduates the World Needs

The #1 priority of the Ƶ LEADS Campaign was increasing funding for scholarships that help Ƶ attract the finest community of learners—students destined to become Graduates The World Needs.

Inspired by this vision, Ƶ donors responded by endowing more than 280 scholarships in the university’s Odyssey, Fellows, and Ƶ Engagement programs. Their loyalty and generosity fueled historic growth in Ƶ’s endowment and financial aid program, while helping attract a more diverse student body that makes Ƶ a stronger university.

Ƶ Trustee and parent Bill Inman and his wife Patricia Inman were so grateful for the life-changing education their daughter Jackie Inman Burns ’00 received that they endowed the Inman Family Scholarship in the university’s Odyssey Program. Their generous gift funds 10 Inman Family Scholarships each year, providing aid that helps meet a student’s full need.

There is so much financial need out there with students. We wanted to make it possible for these students to get a great education at Ƶ and graduate without taking on unbearable debt. Our hope is that these students will help this country by solving some of our greatest challenges.”
-Bill Inman P’00

The Inmans are among Ƶ’s most devoted families. Their gifts supported Rhodes Stadium, Alumni Field House, the Ernest A. Koury Sr. Business Center, Numen Lumen Pavilion, and the Inman Reading Room in Lindner Hall in the Lambert Academic Village. In addition, the Inman Ƶ Welcome Center greets thousands of prospective students and their families each year.
