Overview

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ provides professional development funding, known as Grant-In-Aid, to support employees pursuing learning opportunities and resources that enhance their professional growth and development.

Program Structure

Eligible employees may apply annually for up to $300 in funding to support learning activities and materials, including books, software, equipment, conference registration fees, travel expenses, tuition, and other professional development opportunities.

Staff & Faculty Experience

The program helps employees pursue professional growth opportunities that enhance skills, knowledge, leadership development, and effectiveness in their role.

Advantage

Provides supplemental funding that can help offset the cost of professional development activities and resources.

Participation

Employees submit an application describing the learning activity or resource and how it supports their professional development goals.

Eligibility

Available to employees seeking support for professional development activities. Funding may not be used for certifications or licenses that are mandatory for an employee’s position or required by law, as those expenses are expected to be covered through department budgets.

Getting Started

Complete the Grant-In-Aid application and submit it to the Office of Leadership and Professional Development. Applications must be submitted by May 15 to be considered for the current fiscal year. Applicants are typically notified of funding decisions within two weeks of submission.
