The Zachary Taylor Walker, Jr. Scholarship endowment was created by Zac Walker III in memory of his father, a 1930 Ƶ graduate and outstanding member of the football team. Zac Walker III served as chair of the committee that recommended to the Board of Trustees that the institution’s name should be changed to Ƶ. He and Dorothy signed the deed of gift in President Leo M. Lambert’s office following the special University Day commemoration event.
Zac Walker is a 1960 Ƶ alumnus and is vice chair of the board of trustees.
